All Sci No Fi - J&J

From baby powder to top notch science.

Since the pandemic the role of work in our lives shifted. Thousands of professionals everywhere started reevaluating their jobs in the need of a more purposeful and meaningful career. Globally, we got to know it as the Great Rethink. 

 

This was a great opportunity for J&J to attract better fitting digital and tech talent. But the battle was more competitive than ever, with big-tech companies and start-ups looking like more attractive options. To succeed, we had the challenge to shift the perception of J&J from a bureaucratic slow moving company to an innovative healthcare company, ultimately positioning it as a top employer for talent.

 

We just needed to show the exciting reality of what’s actually happening at J&J – like 3D organ modelling or conducting surgery with advanced robots that save lives. In fact, J&J’s cutting edge innovations are so incredible that many people could assume are something out of science fiction. But it’s not fiction; it’s all science. Science that talent can be a part of to help change health for humanity. In our “All Sci, No Fi” campaign, we tap into the audience’s passion for the genre and leverage the sci-fi film codes we all know to reveal J&J’s cutting edge projects.

OOH and Print

Inspired by the well know visual codes of the science fiction genre, we created OOH, posters and print ads for this campaign. Each execution represents a project that it's currently taking on at J&J.

Johnson & Johnson wanted to reinvent the recruiting process with a futuristic twist. So, in the spirit of their All Sci No Fi campaign, we built an innovative recruitment website tailored for candidates with strong medical and scientific backgrounds.

This wasn’t just another job portal—it was designed to feel as cutting-edge as the breakthroughs J&J is working on. A platform built for top talent in science and medicine, where the hiring experience itself reflected the innovation of the roles they were applying for.

The All Sci No Fi recruitment website turns the job search into a fully interactive experience. Instead of scrolling through a standard list of openings, candidates find themselves at the center of a futuristic 3D space, where they can navigate through a carousel of cutting-edge innovations. Each one leads to a deep dive into the technology—along with relevant job opportunities at Johnson & Johnson.

At first glance, these breakthroughs feel like something out of a sci-fi novel. But as candidates explore, they realize these innovations are real—and they could be part of bringing them to life. It’s not just a job search; it’s an invitation to shape the future.
